The A2 has an 8 megapixel CCD. The model is now discontinued. The A2 is feature rich including items not found all in one on other cameras including a manual focus ring, time lapse options, a high resolution 922,000 pixel viewfinder as well as an articulating rear 1.8 inch screen, a 7x zoom barrel. The quality of the image is excellent for most amateur photographers.
